For the DIY graphic designer, Canva is the program for you! Explore hundreds of pre-made social media and marketing graphics that you can easily customize in a snap! The drag-and-drop interface also makes it perfect for any skill level. Think you’ll be using it often? Lightroom
Lightroom is the preferred program for photo editing and management. The interface for editing is fairly easy to use and I love it for organizing my photos all in one place, applying presets, and more. It also has a free version you can download on your phone – or you can get the desktop version for about $10 a month. Want to give both Photoshop and Lightroom a try? Then, do check it out!

Airtable is a great online platform for creating and managing projects, tasks, due dates and more. You can also assign your team different projects, so everyone knows who’s doing what, as well as check off items when they’re complete. HIGHLY recommend trying out.

Inshot
If you’re constantly shooting content on your phone like me, then you’ll want a handy video editing app like InShot. I’ve been using InShot for years and love love LOVE it! You can apply everything from stickers and transitions, to effects, music and more. It has a bit more of a robust editing interface, too – so if you feel like the in-app editors on Tiktok or Reels just aren’t cutting it – try out InShot!

Mini Tripod
If you film stories, selfies, and short videos often, then you’re going to want a mini tripod that’s lightweight and portable to keep your frame steady. I really like this one because it folds up an is super portable – plus, it extends into a selfie stick, too!

Ring Light + Tripod
If you’re a YouTuber or just record videos often, it’s time to look into a good ring light! I’ve had this one for a couple years and use it for everything from recording Reels and Tiktoks, to filming timelapses of a project I’m working on – or even for lighting when I’m taking photos! It’s pretty large in size and can adjust to multiple heights, so is great for standing shots. It also has clip on shields to adjust light color, as well as a dimming knot, phone/camera holder, and remote you can sync for quick captures. Click here and check it out!

Are you a blogger, influencer, or product based biz? Then, you probably take a lot of flatlay photos! These backdrop patterns are perfect for styling products and keeping on brand – without a distracting background. They come in a variety of colors and patterns and aren’t super pricy. Definitely worth it!

Camera
If you’re looking to up your photography game, I’d highly recommend the Canon EOS Rebel Camera. I’ve had mine for a few years and it’s been a great investment in my biz. While it’s not the fanciest camera out there, it’s perfect for content creators and gives you a super professional photo without the heavy price tag.

When you first start your business, you’ll need a professional business email. G-Suite elevates the Gmail experience and allows you to share files with clients, co-workers, etc. Simply create a G-suite account and you’ll be able to store, share, edit, and access all your files from drive in a snap!
