The Business Vault

Welcome to the business vault! Here, you’ll find all the digital marketing resources I use to run my online business and blog. Please note, some of these digital marketing resources contain affiliate links to products I use and love. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Social Media

Tailwind – Want to automate your website traffic and land tons of leads with Pinterest? Then, Tailwind is where it’s at! Schedule hundreds of pins an advance easily with this popular Pinterest automation tool.

Planoly – If you’re hanging out on the ‘gram regularly, you’ll want a reliable program to get the job done. Planoly is a fabulous option for its visual grid planner, draft section, ability to import missing IGTV/reel covers, and story scheduling capabilities. There’s a forever free plan available, too!

Graphic Design

Canva – For the DIY graphic designer, Canva is the program for you! Explore hundreds of pre-made social media and marketing graphics that you can easily customize in a snap! The drag-and-drop interface also makes it perfect for any skill level. Think you’ll be using it often? Then, I highly recommend the pro version for its must-have premium features – which is about $10/month!

Photoshop – If you’re ready to take your design skills to the next level, then I recommend giving Photoshop a try! I use the program for a variety of design work – from collages and templates, to photo manipulation and more. It is a bit more complex than Canva, but the added features are worth it if you’re creating intricate designs. Not sure it’s for you? You can try it out for free!

Lightroom – Lightroom is the preferred program for photo editing and management. I started using it about a year ago and haven’t looked back. The interface for editing is fairly easy to use and I love it for organizing my photos all in one place, applying presets, and more. It also has a free version you can download on your phone – or you can get the desktop version for about $10 a month. Want to give both Photoshop and Lightroom a try? Then, explore all the plans, here!

Creative Market– Support the makers community by browsing an enormous library filled with fonts, graphics, and themes for your brand or blog. Find everything from planners and templates, to texture packs and branding bundles, here. I highly recommend signing up for their newsletter because Creative Market likes to reward members with freebies each month. Great resource if design isn’t your strong suit!

Website

Bluehost – If you’re looking to monetize your blog, I’d highly recommend building a website through WordPress. But, first —you’ll need a secure and reliable web host to do that. Bluehost is highly recommended by millions of bloggers and entrepreneurs because of its free domain name registration, 24/7 support, and super affordable hosting costs. What I especially appreciate, is how simple and straightforward the setup is – in fact, the startup guide has step-by-step instructions for your specific theme, screenshot tutorials, plus a helpful FAQs page to answer virtually any question you may have.

Blogging

Legal Bundle – If you plan on collecting email addresses, monetizing your blog using affiliate link, and protect how visitors use your content, then you will need to acquire 3 legal pages first. The Legal Bundle has given me peace of mind in knowing my online business and hard work is legally protected. The pricing is also significantly lower than other legal bundles I’ve seen —not to mention super easy to customize and download. Click below to snag ’em!

Keyword Tool – Bloggers, this one’s for you! If you know anything about SEO, you know key words are “key” to increasing your search rankings in Google. Be sure to use this Keyword Tool for inspiration on which long-tail phrases you can incorporate into your blog posts!

Mailerlite has become my new favorite tool for automating my email sequences for my blog and website. Easily create attractive landing pages and email templates in minutes, as well as set up conditions and segments based on your audience’s activity. The best part? If you have under 1,000 subscribers, your plan is free!

Flodesk – Another great email marketing option is Flodesk. Rather new on the market, Flodesk is raising the bar when it comes to your email marketing. Many love this program because they’ve completely simplified the email marketing process by providing you with an extremely straightforward dashboard. GSuite – When you first start your business, you’ll need a professional business email. G-Suite elevates the Gmail experience and allows you to share files with clients, co-workers, etc. Simply create a G-suite account and you’ll be able to store, share, edit, and access all your files from drive in a snap!

Trello Trying to manage multiple projects at once? Then, you’ll probably need a project management software to keep you and your team on track. Trello is a great online platform for creating and managing projects, tasks, due dates and more. You can also assign your team different projects, so everyone knows who’s doing what, as well as check off items when they’re complete. Great way to stay organized!

PowerSheets – If you’re a pen-and-paper-type of gal and love crossing things off – you’ll love the PowerSheets planner. The planner is so fun and motivating, and walks you through your long-term goals in bite sized pieces.
